Focus Sessions

1st and 3d Mondays every month but and August and December, 10 a.m. to noon, held in the Vista Room at Hillside. Seminars explore specific software skills, computer maintenance, trouble-shooting techniques, and issues related to iPhones, and iPads; most sessions include a handout and a comprehensive question and answer period. Topics are announced in the Rossmoor News and AUGR’s weekly email to members.

Home Assistance Program

For help with an Apple product, call Diane Overly, 925-945-6055, for the name and phone number of someone who can assist in your home or over the phone. There is no charge for this service, but donations are accepted to cover club expenses. Suggested minimum contribution for home visit, $10.

Help Available In The Computer Room

An AUGR member is available in the Computer (PC) Room at Rossmoor’s Gateway building to help with any questions about Macs, iPhones, or iPads on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon.

Annual Film Fest

Want to see your epic movie on the big screen? Each year, in cooperation with Diablo Valley MAC Users Group and the Rossmoor Photography Club, AUGR hosts a Film Fest in the Peacock Theater, followed by a reception in the Fireside Room and presentation of awards.  Movies produced by members may be up to 8 minutes.
